Marillion's "Season's End" was their first album without singer Fish. It took awhile to grow on me but soon learned to love it. Saw the band on this tour at Hammerjacks in Baltimore. One of the best shows I've ever seen in a club.
Simple Minds' "Sparkle in the Rain" produced by Steve Lillywhite is still the perfect balance between their experimental early work and their later pop-oriented leanings.
